Landscaping Indian Lingerie – Our Journey to Curwish

There were over 80% of the female segment not choosing the correct style of lingerie and to wear the wrong size almost all their lives. To solve this problem our heads got together in early 2007, and this was also a start for a new lingerie revolution in India. 

Started by Sanjeev & Nirupma Kapur in 2007, “Only Color” was one of its kind lingerie brand in India. The couple has identified a huge gap in the market pertaining to absolutely no colorful lingerie in the India market and started catering to the unborn yet arising need. 

Focussing on being the first company to launch colorful lingerie with new designs in the market, the Kapurs revamped the landscape of inner wear in our country. Starting with a range of over 400 colors and more than 80 designs they took the market by a storm and how!

This is where the original idea of catering to women’s was embedded into our founder – Kerin! Not only did she learn from her parents already established empire in the lingerie business but wanted to go a step ahead and cater to the Indian curves with the latest fabric and innovative design patterns. 

When we first started to cater to the lingerie market, we made it our aim to understand women and what makes them comfortable. For us at Curwish, it is always our customers, community, and comfort first. We aim at revolutionizing the lingerie market with our innovative comfort while always being ahead with designs. We want to be the leading fashion comfort lingerie wear.
